How do I start or choose which type of session or class to take?
A Classic Pilates session utilizes all Pilates equipment. This provides each student
with the widest variety of exercises. A Classic Pilates Session is individually
tailored, and thus appropriate for those with injuries, specific weaknesses or
challenges that need to be addressed. Group classes on the Tower and Mat
provide an excellent workout and everyone performs the same exercises together.
 

What is a semi-private Classic Pilates session?
A one-hour session that incorporates a core group of exercises
performed on the Reformer, Tower, Wunda Chair, Barrel, and mat.
The exercise routine becomes more complex and personalized as each student
masters the beginning exercises. Simple Yoga poses are introduced from the start
with more complex Yoga sequences judiciously added as the student progresses.
Three private sessions are required to join a semi-private session.

What is a Pilates Tower class?
A one-hour group class using the Tower apparatus and mat to perform Pilates
exercises. Everyone performs the same routine. There is a maximum enrollment
of six students per class.

 

What is a Pilates/Yoga Tower class?
A one-hour class using the Tower apparatus and mat
to perform Pilates exercises and supported Yoga
poses. Everyone performs the same routine. There is
a maximum enrollment of six students per class.

What type of Yoga classes are taught?
Alignment based Vinyasa or Restorative Yoga classes
are scheduled and tailored to meet your or your group's
needs. Besides offering classic Yoga instruction on the mat
our studio offers Yoga on the Tower, which allows less stable or flexible individuals a safe
way to practice different poses. Sessions can also be held in your home or workplace.

Pre and Post Natal Class Description
This one-hour class is similar to the regular Pilates/Yoga Tower class but places special emphasis on
addressing the needs of the pregnant or new mother. There is a maximum enrollment of six students
per class.

What is a Custom/Corporate class and session?
Tailored to meet the special needs of your group, these classes can be scheduled during lunch or after
work—or any other time. Yoga, classic Pilates, tower or mat classes available. The perfect opportunity
to exercise with your family or friends at a time convenient for you. Sessions can be held in our studio,
your home, or your work-place.
